In the opinion of many residents, the service grows worse year after year.<\/p>\n<p>Buses are chronically late, if they show up at all. The service is expensive for both the users and taxpayers. And the years-long mechanical problems with the new LRT are still not resolved. It\u2019s a mess.<\/p>\n<p>There are things we can do to fix our transit system. We need steady leadership to press forward on making our bus system reliable. It\u2019s possible, with courage.<\/p>\n<p>And we can sort out the LRT problems with a firm hand.
