A Caring City for Everyone

The July 1st storms revealed many program and service gaps in our community. We need innovative partnerships with community organizations and the city to ensure neighbours can access help when they need it.

Here are some program and partnership themes I will explore in the next term.

I plan to work with city staff and our community to help set up what our neighbours need:

Affordable housing options for seniors
Respite services for caregivers
Home and property maintenance support for seniors and people with disabilities
Lawn care support
Youth and teenage programs so young people have healthy things to do
After-school programs for extracurricular learning and homework help
